Building integrated smart websites to drive growth for small and medium size businesses.

I'm Ricky Aryanto

Technology should make your job easier, not more complicated.

After years working inside tech startups where efficiency is key to surviving, I can't look at technology the same way anymore. I've seen what it looks like when technology works: lean, automated, and built around how the business operates. Now, I see a lot of small and medium businesses tangled up in tools that slow them down instead of moving them forward. And that's where I come in, I bring my what I learned building for tech startup and apply it to businesses that need it the most.

Website Development

When off-the-shelf tools aren't enough.

Some businesses outgrow standard website builders. If your work involves complex workflows, custom user experiences, or functionality that platforms like WordPress and Webflow simply can't handle, this is where I come in.

Web API Integrations

Your tools should talk to each other.

If you're copying data between platforms, chasing leads manually, or juggling five logins just to run a normal day — that's not a you problem, it's a setup problem. I connect your website to the tools you already use so everything runs automatically in the background.

FAQ

How much does a website cost?

The final price depends on the scope, number of pages, and functionality required. A standard 4-5 page business website typically ranges between AUD $500 to AUD $1500. More complex builds with custom functionalities, or third-party integrations, are quoted after a discovery call. Visit the services page for a full breakdown of what's included at each level. If you need to get an accurate quote for your project, please book a free consultation call.

How long does a project take?

A standard 4-5 page website typically takes 3-4 weeks from kickoff to handover. Timelines vary with scope and complexity. How quickly content, feedback, and approvals come through will also affect the project timeline. Before the project starts, we'll work out a realistic schedule that works for all parties involved.

What do I need to provide to get started?

To keep things moving, I'll need the following before kickoff:

  • Written content (or notes I can work from)
  • Images or brand photography (stock images provided if needed)
  • Brand assets: logo, fonts, colors if you have them
  • Logins to any existing platforms (hosting, domain, CMS)
  • Answers to a short business questionnaire

Not everything needs to be perfect upfront. We can work through gaps together. However, having these really helps speed up the project.

Do I own my website once it's built?

Yes. Once handover is complete, you have full ownership of and access to your website. Note that third-party assets such as stock images, premium plugins, and the underlying framework are governed by their own licenses. I'll walk you through these at handover so nothing catches you off guard.

How do payments work?

Two payment options are available:

  • Full payment upfront: pay the full quoted amount before work begins
  • Staged payments: 40% deposit, 30% at design completion, 30% before handover

A deposit is required to secure your project slot regardless of which service you choose. All payments are in AUD.

Where are you based, and does that affect working together?

I'm based in Indonesia (GMT+7), which overlaps with AEST by 1-3 hours depending on the time of year. In practice, most project communication happens asynchronously via email, and I typically respond within a few hours. For calls and check-ins, I accommodate Australian business hours and holidays.

What platforms do you build on, and how do you choose?

I build on WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, and custom code depending on what fits your business best. The platform choice comes down to your goals, how you'll manage the site after launch, and what integrations you need. I'll recommend the right option during our consultation.

What's included in the price, and what's not?

Every quote covers the full design and development work, research, design, build, testing, and launch support. Basic SEO setup, copywriting assistance, and free stock images are included as standard.

Not included in the quote:

  • Domain name and registration fees
  • Hosting (and ongoing hosting costs)
  • Premium plugin or software subscriptions
  • Licensed stock photography beyond what's freely available

I'll flag any third-party costs upfront so there are no surprises when the invoice arrives.

Do you offer ongoing support after launch?

Yes. Every project includes 3 months of post-launch support, covering content updates, bug fixes, and general maintenance so you're not left figuring things out alone after handover. After 3 months, support continues through a monthly retainer plan. Visit the services page for details on what's included and how it works.

Can you help if I already have a website?

Yes. Whether you need a refresh, a full redesign, or just specific improvements, I can work with what you already have. After reviewing your current site, I'll give you an assessment. Sometimes targeted updates are all you need, and sometimes a clean rebuild is the more cost-effective path. Either way, you'll know before any work begins.

Will my website show up on Google?

Every website I build includes basic SEO setup — your site will be indexed by Google and structured correctly for search visibility. What I can't guarantee is ranking at the top for specific keywords; that depends on your industry, competition, and ongoing SEO effort over time. If search rankings are a priority, I can refer you to specialist SEO services that work alongside your website.

Can you connect my website to the tools I already have?

In most cases, yes. Connecting your website to the tools you already use — your CRM, booking system, email marketing platform, payment processor, and more — is a core part of what I do. During our consultation, I'll assess your current setup and tell you exactly what's possible and what it involves. Where additional development work is needed beyond the standard scope, I'll flag it upfront with a clear cost before anything is agreed.
